Meet Your practitioner:

 

Mark Gutkin L.Ac. MS is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY Campus) with a Master Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. He practices traditional Chinese and Korean (SuJok) style acupuncture incorporating Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na bodywork, Eastern Nutrition and lifestyle counseling. Mark specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain and arthritis as well as Digestive and Pre-/Post menopausal issues.

A former network engineer having been wheel-chair bound after a serious car accident Mark has rehabilitated himself to full mobility and was able to return to a variety of hobbies such as skiing, biking and extensive travel.

 

He is faculty at Lifetime Learners Institute at NCC and encourages his patients and students to take responsibility for their own health providing them with tools to aid in continued recovery.

Mark currently practices at Respiratory Associates with Dr. Igal Staw in Norwalk, CT and affiliated with Kaia Wellness in Westport, CT.

 

 

Cathy McCarthy is a Nutritional Consultant & Lifestyle Coach. She is board certified with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and recently joined the Health Extenders group.  Cathy is a frequent contributor on Cablevision’s News 12, “12 on Health” and a classroom educator for the Nutri-Kid’s program in Stamford.  She specializes in adult and pediatric nutrition and council’s individuals on achieving their goal for optimal health through diet and nutrition, supplementation, education, motivation, and lifestyle changes.

 

Your private consultation includes diet evaluation and management, medical and family history, resource material, follow-up consultations, supplementation guidance, emotional health status, stress management, exercise, and lifestyle habits.  You will receive the support and guidance to achieve your wellness goals and be empowered to create the life you desire for your mind, body, and soul.

 

Cathy McCarthy has her nutrition certification from the accredited school, Global College of Natural Medicine in Santa Cruz, CA and her board certification from the AADP.
